Destination Earth, the Next Generation

On Wednesday 17th January the Quantum Theatre for Science visited school with a musical comedy show about human effects on the environment and recycling.

As well as supporting the National Curriculum for science, geography and PHSE the show also raised awareness of current and topical environmental issues.

Pupils learned about biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials, what causes acid rain, how the "Greenhouse Effect" occurs and its effects and discussed the hole in the ozone layer.

Children were able to participate in the performance and ask any questions.

Everyone enjoyed the show  which was informative and fun.
