Stag Lane Schools Summer Fete took place on Saturday 9th June. The weather forecast was not good but the rain held off and the fete went ahead as planned.

It was a very enjoyable day and it was so nice to see so many parents, children, members of the local community, former pupils, staff and governors together. There was a real feeling of community spirit.

Thanks to the brilliant organisational skills of Mrs Heath and Mrs Patel the fete was a great success and raised approximately £6000 which is to be shared between the two schools.   This is £2000 more than last years fete which is a magnificent achievement.

A big thank you to everyone involved not only on the day but behind the scenes as well. All your hard work and efforts are appreciated.
