On Friday morning pupils at Stag Lane Middle School were very fortunate to be visited by Tony McNulty Minister of State for security, counter terrorism and police.
Firstly he met with the Pupil Parliament at school and shared some of his parliamentary experiences, discussed his background and love of history which led him to politics and was very interested in what the pupil parliament are trying to achieve at school.
Then he met with Year 7 as many children of the year group had written to him about their concerns for endangered species. He was happy to answer their questions.

Lastly he joined the school for an assembly about the 'Join Up' campaign for global education.
