In year 4 we have been writing chapter stories based on Fantastic Mr Fox. We are writing our own animal adventure stories with a partner. We have been using our COLLABORATION muscle.
 
We enjoyed this way of working as we can discuss and share ideas with each other and help each other before we write our stories.

The Lion who could not roar 

Extract from a story by Taher

……Then the lion visualised his own roar, so he pumped his blood, used his brain, followed his heart and then he made the social adjustment for getting ready to roar.

His fur turned flat to sharp, his eyes turned jungle green and his claws burned sharper every second. Then he performed his first roar ever!
