In Year 5 children have been researching  Henry V111 and  produced an information leaflet.

During their research the children uncovered some interesting information:-

• HenryV111 was bor at Greenwich Palace on 28th June 1491.
• He was the son of Henry V11 and Elizabeth of York.
• He had an older brother, Arthur, an older sister, Margaret, and a younger brother Louis.
• He was a clever child and was educated by private tutors.
• He loved sports and was a keen huntsman and tennis player.
• He was crowned king in 1509.
• Henry had six wives but only 3 children-

1. Catherine of Aragon (divorced) - daughter Mary Tudor
2. Anne Boleyn (beheaded) - daughter Elizabeth
3. Jane Seymour (died) - son Edward V1
4. Anne of Cleves (divorced)
5. Katherine Howard(beheaded)
6. Kathryn Parr

Henry died in 1547 and was buried in St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
