Literacy - Journey to Jo'burg

We sat in rows and we were all given a square of the picture from the front cover of the Novel we have been reading called Journey to Jo'burg.

We had to re-create the picture in a larger size. The activity was very BLP focused, as we had to collaborate with the people in front and behind us and also with the people each side, in order to ensure that each piece matched exactly with the other.

This was a fun activity to do, but it also took a lot of concentration from all of us. We felt that we did quite a good job of replicating the picture.
